The Renters Rights Act is due to come into force this summer and one of the less talked about issues is the Government's pledge to extend Awaab's Law to the entire private sector. This will impose strict timelines on landlords to investigate and deal with potential hazards reported by tenants. A failure to comply will mean tenants could pursue compensation claims against their landlords. With no win no fee solicitors always being keen to grow their market, the Build to Rent Sector could be seen as a target for claims.

These sessions will provide a fantastic opportunity to understand what the new provisions mean and how to get ahead of the no win no fee lawyers.
