This session will focus on "The Benefits of Upgrading Existing Buildings: A Guide to Sustainable Retrofits and Modern Standards".
- We will explore the transformative benefits of retrofitting Retirement Living properties to meet modern sustainability standards. It will highlight the environmental advantages of reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, the economic gains of lower operational costs and increased property value, and the social impact of enhancing resident comfort, health, and satisfaction.
- The session will also emphasize ARCO’s Members commitment to corporate social responsibility and ESG principles, increasing the attractiveness of properties to eco-conscious residents.
- Additionally, it will touch on funding strategies to make retrofitting more accessible and provide practical examples of successful projects, offering actionable insights to help ARCO Members lead in creating efficient, desirable, and environmentally responsible communities.
